As lead sustainability consultant, the founder advised the developer and architects through the BPDA and MEPA environmental design review, using 3D building energy modeling to select the MEP design options that delivered the deepest energy savings. Outcome: LEED Platinum, WELL Gold, and certification as a Passive House office building — reported at completion as the largest of its kind. Work performed under a previous employer.
655,000 sq ft of office, hotel, retail, and restaurant space with below-grade parking, built as a deck over I-90. The founder advised the architects and the HVAC and plumbing design teams as lead sustainability consultant during design, targeting LEED Platinum and applying Passive House envelope principles to cut energy use while improving indoor air quality.
