The Winthrop Center in Boston, is a 53-story mixed-use development, offering 321 residential units, 750,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 550-space parking garage. As Lead Sustainability Consultant, our Founder provided MEP design consulting and guidance to developers and architects through the BPDA environmental design review that achieved deep energy savings and improved operating income by leveraging 3D building energy modeling.
Our collaboration with the BPDA and MEPA allowed the team to identify best use case and certify the project as LEED Platinum, WELL Gold and create the world's largest Passive House office building. These achievements emphasize our integrative design approach that prioritizes project goals from an ownership standpoint.
Winthrop Center contributes to Boston’s economic revitalization and global stature as a beacon of sustainable urban development.
